Dr Hassan will be responsible for overseeing overall governance, policy, company training, and the health and safety of the service. Dr Ahmed Hassan grew up surrounded by doctors, so medicine became more than a career choice—it felt like part of his identity from the beginning.
Today, as a GP Partner at a busy Bradford practice, He brings over 15 years of experience shaped by curiosity, commitment, and a genuine desire to make care better for the people he serves. He always had a keen eye for systems and quality, and the audits he has developed to improve how his practice delivers care.
As part of his senior GP partner role Dr Hassan has extensive leadership skills as he leads a team of over 20 reception and nursing teams. This will help him seamlessly embed good governance at “The Aurora Way”.
Dr Hassan has the privilege of Co-Chairing Safeguarding team meeting locally and across the patch in Bradford. This will be critical to make “The Aurora Way” one of the best and safest homes in Bradford. He also has keen interest in maintaining the estates at his practice to ensure staff and patient
safety. He will bring that role to “The Aurora Way”
Teaching has become one of the most fulfilling parts of his journey. Working with medical students and examining OSCEs at the University of Leeds gives him the chance to share what he has learned, encourage confidence, and help shape the clinicians tomorrow.
Only this year, Dr Hassan has started working as a visiting lecturer for Leeds School of Medicine. Dr Hassan professional interests span clinical governance, leadership, diabetes care—supported by his postgraduate diploma in diabetes.
He is currently involved in projects designed to improve access and care for patients. The Aurora way is his vision that he believes is urgently needed to support and guide the next generation.
